"Russian Spring"
| Lois Virginia Babb captures the beauty of life around us, as in
this spectacular print of Princess asleep on the forbidden sofa.
Her paintings become symbolic reflections of values and dreams she may
wish to explore. The area's unique pallet, the Virginia mountain
ranges, with it's rich vegetation and wide open skies, is clearly should
in 'Her Majesty's Weakness".
Sometimes a subject will beckon Lois Virginia to capture it simply by it's beauty as in the beautiful herons below, Spring Song I & II. |

View the work of this artist who hopes her deep faith in God and her desire to capture the good and the beauty of our world is mirrored in every painting. Lois Virginia's work reflects a maturity fitting to this seasoned painter. In 1985, while living on the coast of South Carolina, Lois left a career in business and began earning her living as a fine artist. Her award winning work has become widely collected. In 1992, Lois Virginia began publishing her work and distributing reproductions nationally. Like many of Lois Virginia's contemporaries, in the early years her love of art bred a career in advertising and design. Although she has studied art at Radford University and Indiana Technical Institute, she attributes much of her success to the sharing and encouragement of her peers, and to the privilege of living in a country where our dreams can be realized when we are willing to work for them. A native of Virginia, Lois most recently returned to the land of her roots in the commonwealth's beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. We, at Fine Art Dog Prints, are delighted to welcome Lois to our gallery. |
